Bangladesh Institute of Business and Technology (BIBT) was founded in June 2011 by Mr. Md. Kamal Hossain. Located at 2/4 Allama Iqbal Road, Chasara College Road, Narayanganj, BIBT was established with the goal of offering quality higher education to the local community. In October 2011, the institute received official affiliation from the National University of Bangladesh, with the affiliation code: 5619. Since its inception, BIBT has successfully launched various programs, including Professional BBA, Professional B.Sc in Apparel Manufacturing & Technology (AMT), Professional B.Sc in Fashion Design & Technology (FDT), Professional MBA, MBA in Apparel Merchandising, as well as other postgraduate degrees.
BIBT operates from a modern, seven-story building equipped with specialized facilities, including a computer lab, pattern and CAD lab, sewing lab, printing lab, dyeing lab, physics and chemistry lab, and a well-stocked library. The institute also provides separate common rooms for boys and girls, a sports and recreation room, a prayer hall for girls, and the BIBT Central Club for extracurricular activities.
Over time, BIBT has expanded its reach and scope. In addition to its academic offerings, the institute plays a vital role in the community by providing student hostels and offering free short courses on various topics, including IT training and fashion design. The institution also engages in numerous humanitarian activities, such as supporting flood-affected areas and providing aid during harsh winters.
Today, BIBT stands stronger than ever, gaining recognition nationwide for its commitment to quality education. The institution proudly collaborates with the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on various projects and continues to work towards building a brighter future for the nation by nurturing creative, innovative, and talented citizens.
