In the B.sc in Fashion Design program, you’ll study the market so you can better anticipate its demands and trends. You’ll learn about fashion design theory, innovative fabrics, and new technologies and manufacturing processes. You’ll also explore fashion styling and communication for advertising and editorials.Each year, you’ll take a fun, experimental course focused on coaching and free creativity, one that builds motivation and teamwork skills. You’ll be guided to discover your passions and strengths with the aim of identifying your own specialization in the field. You’ll explore new forms of entrepreneurship and prepare to launch your career within the international fashion system.

This course includes the history and growth of Apparel and Fashion Industry in global to national context with special reference to the Apparel & Fashion industry in Bangladesh. Effort will be made to provide the student with the past history, present status and future prospect of the apparel and fashion industry of Bangladesh, as well as the forward and backward linkage industries. The course would address about the general concept about various department of a clothing industry, activities and function of the industry. Factory visit will be followed with theoretical class and students will be required to report on factory visit. Students will be presented with multimedia presentation on relevant industry.
